Plant growth regulator containing maleic hydrazide for sprout inhibition in potatoes and onions during storage, grass growth control in turf areas, and growth control of trees and shrubs. When applied to healthy growing plants, maleic hydrazide is absorbed rapidly through leaf surface and inhibits cell division but not cell expansion.
