About Paradigm Inputs
Paradigm Inputs is a crop-input marketplace built for Western Canadian farmers. We source certified premium generic (off-patent) crop-protection products directly from international manufacturers and distribute them through a network of independent, local agronomic brokers on our own software platform, including AgAssistant, our embedded agronomic-intelligence layer. Our mission is to make it possible for trusted people in rural communities to run their own crop-input businesses on infrastructure built for the way agriculture actually works. We are headquartered in Calgary, Alberta and serve growers across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
About the role
As our Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator, you will own the day-to-day logistics and trade-compliance work that moves crop-protection products from international suppliers to brokers and growers across the prairies, on time and without surprises. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will coordinate freight and carriers, manage customs and import documentation, administer key supply and partner relationships, and keep the delivery experience smooth as our volumes grow. This is a high-trust, high-ownership role for someone who loves getting complex logistics exactly right.
What you will do
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight across Western Canada: book and track shipments, manage carrier relationships, and resolve delivery exceptions before they reach the customer.
- Manage customs clearance and import documentation: work with customs brokers and handle bills of lading, purchase-order-to-delivery tracking, and import compliance for regulated crop-protection products.
- Administer key supply and partner-program relationships, including day-to-day coordination, documentation, and reporting.
- Own the delivery experience: provide proactive, accurate delivery-status communication to brokers and growers, and continuously improve fulfillment as volumes scale.
- Support supplier relationships and new logistics initiatives: coordinate documentation and logistics with overseas suppliers and help stand up new warehousing and order-consolidation programs.
What you bring
- 3+ years in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or customs and import coordination.
- Working knowledge of import and trade compliance: customs documentation and the requirements for moving regulated goods into Canada.
- A proven ability to manage vendors and carriers under deadline pressure.
- Strong organizational rigour and systems fluency (spreadsheets, ERP, or accounting software).
- Clear, calm, trust-building communication that keeps partners informed and confident.
Nice to have
- Experience in agricultural inputs, crop protection, chemicals, or other regulated bulk goods.
- Familiarity with prairie trucking lanes and Western Canada ag logistics.
- Experience importing regulated products into Canada (for example, PMRA-registered goods or similar).
- Experience with QuickBooks Online or a marketplace or ERP platform.
